Brian Hinchcliffe 3
Mr. Hinchcliffe has been involved in the founding of mining projects in the natural resources sector for nearly 30 years working with Harry Dobson. Mr. Hinchcliffe is a co-founder of Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. (now Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd., TSX, NYSE, ASX) and served as its President and CEO.
Mr. Hinchcliffe is also formerly the Executive Chairman and CEO of Rupert Resources Ltd. (TSXV) and co-founded American Pacific Mines. Prior to launching this mine founding career, Mr. Hinchcliffe worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and London in the mining and metals sector.
Mr. Sutton’s career spans over 40 years as an exploration geologist which included the founding of Kirkland Lake Gold with Mr. Hinchcliffe and Mr. Dobson. Mr. Sutton served as exploration and production geologist at Kirkland Lake Gold and was awarded the Prospector of the Year for Ontario (along with Stew Carmichael) for the discovery of the very high-grade South Mine Complex. Mr. Sutton is also a Director of Rupert Resources Ltd., which has recently had significant exploration success.
Mr. Sutton is also a Director of Galway Resources, where he played a significant role in the company’s takeover by AUX for $340 million. He is a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario and has been a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada since 1982.
Ms. Hayes has been working as marketing and communications advisor for over 25 years. Ms. Hayes was a Founding Director of financial PR consultancy, Pelham Public Relations, in November 2004, growing it to a 40-strong, £6m business and advising technology, media, mining and energy companies, before merging with Bell Pottinger and then leaving the business. Since then she has been involved in founding and growing several other businesses in the UK. She holds an MBA from Henley Business School.
Robert Suttie 2
Robert possesses more than sixteen years experience in financial services, including over ten years in public accounting, specialising in management advisory, accounting, and financial disclosure. His public company experience includes preparation of financial statements, initial public offerings, business combinations and asset carve-outs, and spin-out transactions. He serves as Chief Financial Officer to a number of companies listed on the TSX and TSX Venture exchanges, and currently manages the financial reporting team at Marrelli Support Services Inc.
Gordon Chmilar 2
Mr. Chmilar is a corporate lawyer with 20 years of experience and is the founder of Modern Finance Law in Calgary, Alberta.
Mr. Chmilar frequently represents issuers, underwriters, and investors in public and private securities offerings, and has gained extensive experience in international mining, technology, and oil & gas related financings and transactions and joint ventures. Mr. Chmilar holds a law degree from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.
John Thomson 1,2,3
Mr. Thomson was the former CFO of Kirkland Lake Gold during its important years of strategic exploration investment and growth. Mr. Thomson has significant experience in building joint venture and distributor relationships in the FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors internationally and has worked internationally in a variety of senior roles for companies including PepsiCo. Most recently, he has built up a successful consulting business providing advice to institutional shareholders and management teams in the media, minerals, and technology sectors.
Leni Keough 1 & 2
Ms. Keough has over 35 years' experience in the mining industry, focused on mineral exploration, and combined with expertise in project management, public company management, finance and capital markets, communications, and business development. She founded private explorer Adamas Minerals Inc. and Olivut Investments Ltd. The latter was taken public as Olivut Resources Ltd. on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Ms. Keough is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, BSc. Honors Geology. She is a director of the NWT and Nunavut Chamber of Mines and served on the NWT Mining Industry Advisory Board.
